The Endocrinology, Diabetes & Nutrition Division at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting for a full time faculty member to work in the laboratory of Dr. Stephen Davis conducting research on diabetes and complications of hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia on the cardiovascular system. The position will include protocol development and writing, performance of data and statistical analysis, as well as preparation and presentation of scientific reports and manuscripts. The candidate will assist in grant writing, design and prepare study manuals, procedural guidelines, monitor tools, SOPs and related clinical documents (CRFs, ICFs, protocol templates). Minimum requirements for this position include: a Ph.D. with three years’ experience in hyperinsulinemic euglycemic, hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemic and pancreatic clamps. Strong preference will be given to a candidate who has published significant peer-reviewed articles, has mentored students and possesses good interpersonal skills.
